Ugh!
We have about 75 miles left in our 365 mile trip to the lake and my husband just realized that we don’t have a key to the house because we took my keys and not his. This is not going to be fun with 2 kids and 2 dogs.
Edit: Only worried for a split second. A neighbor has a key… Whew!

Headed up to Northern Wisconsin for a nice long weekend but first we have a quick stop in Madison. Can anyone suggest a place for the kids and I to get some lunch while the hubby is in a meeting?

I love going up to the lake house but packing for myself and the kids is tiresome. I miss just packing for myself sometimes.

A skunk went by our house about 30 minutes ago and must have sprayed right outside of our open screen doors because the smell is just awful and isn’t going away. It’s so bad that my eyes and throat are burning.
My husband just said, “I wish I had gas because my shit smells 100 times better then this.”
I, on the other hand, don’t want to smell either of them.

Ok, so I wasn’t on Tumblr for about an hour and apparently there was an earthquake??? I feel so out of the loop.
Gettin' Healthy
It’s amazing how by watching what and how much I eat and exercise can do. 7 pounds down in just under 2 weeks! I don’t think I’m going to have any problem hitting my first weightloss goal on this journey.
Please excuse the last post. It’s been a very long few days and even longer nights (the 3 year old is refusing to sleep and getting up 15 times a night). It all just came to a head at one moment.

Thank you guys for your support in my Debbie Downer thoughts today. I am going to take the kids on a stroll to the library to pickup some books. Hopefully, this will get me out out of this funk.
EDIT: I just told my daughter the plan to get books and she said, “How about we go get ice cream instead?”
