On the road again

Lazydad, do you happen to have any family in the Chicago area?
(Spotted at Costco)
Apparently, we weren’t the only people with the idea of the zoo today, this place is packed!
Last minute change of plans
The babysitting lady wasn’t at the gym today. Last minute trip to the zoo, kids very excited.

Ugh!
I wish I was a drug dealer
We could make a killing.
My husband had rotator cuff and SLAP tear surgery a month ago. He has had an allergic reaction to 3 of 4 of the pain meds that he has been prescribed.
We have so many useless (to us) pills sitting around. I know our police department has a pill dropoff day, hopefully soon, I need to get these out of here.

A nice little surprise
My mamaw died over 11 years ago. When she passed, she left all of the “family papers” to my Daddy. He had never seen any of the papers before and in them were Mamaw and Papaw’s birth certificates from 1919 and 1907 and also their original marriage certificate from 1935. Also in the papers were his adoption papers from 1955, he thought this was one of the most important pieces in...
Goodbye Las Vegas
Looking forward to seeing my kiddos but could definitely use a few more hours of sleep. Early bedtime for me this evening.

On the plane.

Looking forward to a few days to relax without the kids and of course for Chad and Courtney’s wedding (he’s my husband’s best friend an our daughter’s Godfather). Tracing my family back to NC 1782
As I posted earlier, I got a membership to Ancestry.com for my birthday from my parents. I love it! My mom has a very old (1855) will from her grandfather’s side of the family. We were never sure how we were related. Well, I found out it is from my 4 times great grandfather, Harbert H Harris. He was born in 1782 in Franklin, NC. Actually, my family has lived in NC for all generations until...

I asked my parents for a membership to Ancestry.com for my birthday. I am now obsessed. It’s amazing all the info that I found in just an hour!
