Mama McG's World

Last night I was fortunate enough to attend a second Tumblr Book/Supper club. We had a little smaller group this time, including Anne, Kelly, Kelly, myself, and Tria. We met at Kinmont, and enjoyed some great seafood, wonderful conversation, and tasty cocktails/wine.
The book we discussed was “The Goldfinch” by Donna Tartt. Overall, we liked the book, though we decided that at times it was a bit wordy. We commented on the author’s, Donna Tartt, photo on the book jacket, doesn’t this look like a woman that would write a 780 page, wordy book (though I got the large print book from the library and it was 1300 pages!).
We also talked about who would play the characters if it was turned into a movie, apparently the rights have already been acquired by one of the producers of the “Hunger Games.” On that note, I found this article with just that, ideas for who could play the characters.
I had a great evening and I’m looking forward to the next book and dinner!

Last night had a great little Tumblr meetup at Vie with Kelsey ( jelseww ), Renee ( @gettingtoparis), and Kathleen ( socalledlife). It was great to meet and chat and the food and cocktails were incredible! Looking forward to another meetup soon.

Is there a name for all the eye colors together in one? Green, grey, blue, hazel?
